Peter Olson began his career as a photographer in the 1970s, founding the punk magazine New Sound and working across street, sports, and commercial photography. Combining his photographs with ceramic traditions, he creates narrative vessels inspired by ancient Greek forms. Featuring neighbors and everyday people, each hand-colored work is fired multiple times to achieve a porcelain-like finish.
