Pau S. Pescador's "Pau takes the form of a mortal bitch", the artist and filmmaker's first exhibition with Situations, brings together Polaroid photographs and videos. Its title riffs on Andrea Lawlor's trans novel "Paul Takes the Form of a Mortal Girl", swapping girl for bitch to underline how femininity is made derogatory. Pescador explores shapeshifting bodies, queer pleasure and the reclaiming of language.
