Patrisse Cullors’s "Wishes Made Material" grows out of "Bridging Histories: Black–Jewish Dialogues for Peace and Unity", a yearlong program (April 2024–April 2025) that brought Black and Jewish leaders in Los Angeles together. Two textile works with screen-printed photographs face each other beneath a multi-screen video and soundscape drawn from participants’ conversations, a meditation on listening, healing, and repair.
