Tyler Park Presents Parallel Lines, Amir Nikravan’s second solo exhibition with the gallery. Exploring linear perspective as a meeting point between Middle Eastern and Western traditions of representation, Nikravan translates the spatial contradictions of Persian miniatures into shallow reliefs cast in polished bronze and aluminum. Installed along a horizon line across the gallery walls, the works expose the instability of perspective as a universal system.
