Jane South’s *Outermost* explores the boundaries between painting, sculpture, and architecture through layered assemblages and a new series of pigmented gypsum works. Combining construction materials with cast forms that evoke architectural or geological fragments, South plays with contrasts between surface and depth, solidity and fragility, permanence and impermanence, transforming abstraction into a physical exploration of space.
