*OUT of the Jewelry Box* explores queer perspectives in studio and contemporary art jewelry from the 1950s to today. Featuring works from the Porter Price Collection alongside pieces from MAD’s permanent collection, the exhibition considers jewelry as a form of identity, self-expression, and community. Artists’ and collectors’ stories reveal its role in shaping and preserving queer histories.
