João Ruas's OSSO presents 19 graphite drawings from the Brazilian artist's ongoing series, begun during the 2020 lockdowns as an escape from reality that could be made faster than his paintings. Six years on, the series follows two fixed rules: only graphite and paper, and every drawing the same dimensions. The results are intricate, dreamlike images such as Gryphon, Alvo, Kuramadera and Shamisen.
