NO SMOKING presents a newly commissioned installation by Na Mira that draws on Korean shamanism and media histories related to structural filmmaking. Using radio frequencies, infrared heat, holography, and projected imagery, the work examines language, memory, and systems of image making. Mira’s site-responsive approach considers military landscapes, diaspora, and perception, emphasizing instability and interruption in visual transmission.
