Kuldeep Singh’s *Neither Sun nor Moon*, his debut with the gallery, gathers nine new paintings of men in quiet, contemplative moments. Drawing on the raagmala tradition and the nayika, the longing heroine of Indian poetry and painting, Singh recasts that figure through queer male sitters, friends and lovers in domestic interiors, with poses informed by his long study of the classical dance form Odissi.
