la BEAST presents *Neither Land Nor Water*, Amy MacKay’s second solo exhibition with the gallery, on view through October 31. Drawing on collaborative stagings of Marina Carr’s *By the Bog of Cats*, MacKay transforms competing documentation of private performances into layered oil paintings that move between memory and perception, representation and abstraction, presence and absence.
