Michael Heizer presents Convoluted Line A and Convoluted Line B, two large scale negative sculptures formed from winding steel liners embedded in a raised concrete floor. Installed in relation to one another, the works extend his investigation of line, scale, and negative space begun in the 1960s. A selection of early drawings contextualizes these new sculptures within his broader practice.
