Mother Island: Act I is an immersive installation by Rebecca Weisman combining moving images with sculptural environments that draw on experiences of motherhood during lockdown. Repurposed materials, collaborative drawings, and video projections create a shifting space where real and fictional accounts of stranding intersect, blurring object and image while reflecting on early childhood, vulnerability, and creative survival.
