*MondoChromatic* examines the West Coast’s longstanding engagement with experimental approaches to color, situating contemporary practices within a regional history of chromatic innovation. Works by Nora van den Berg, Leon Philips, Robert Szot, Whitney Vosburgh, Ronnie Genotti, and Don Hershman employ saturated palettes, abstraction, pattern, and gestural forms to reconsider color as both subject and structural device. The exhibition emphasizes intensity, perception, and the expressive possibilities of chromatic excess.
