Peter Rippon's “Mirrors by Peter Rippon: A Unique Selection for the Library” gathers a dozen mirrors and related objects made between 1994 and 2025. Framed in woods such as rosewood, wenge, maple and pear, the pieces combine inlay, poured and iridized glass, and still “water mirror” surfaces. The selection looks at the mirror as both a useful object and an image, and at how viewers shift between seeing the frame and their own reflection.
