Meeson Pae's *Seed Memory*, her first presentation in New York, brings together new oil paintings and sculptures in ceramic, cast metal and plaster. Alien organisms suggesting flowers, fungi and seedpods glow within dark, Symbolist-inflected landscapes, while sculptures gather on lily-pad-shaped steel platforms. Inspired by Jeju Island, where her family traces its origins, Pae explores latent life and the instability of scale.
