A six-person group exhibition curated by Weifan Mo and Xumeng Zhang exploring urban space through painting, employing film theory concepts of mise-en-scène to create tension between cinematic logic and the stasis of the canvas. The exhibition spans two architectural levels, with works fluidly arranged to invite viewers to recalibrate their distance from the images and interrogate how contemporary urban life is perceived at different scales.
