Anna Wittenberg's *MAW* pairs installation and video with sculptural assemblages of salvaged automotive parts—radiator fans and hollow pipes that open like mouths. Common objects and phenomena are unsettled from their usual social and mechanical roles. The show turns on animism, appetite, carnival grotesquerie, and protest: the body's raw vocal urgency from guts to gullet to open cry.
