*Manicured Monkey* examines humanity’s uneasy relationship with nature, using animals as both subject and mirror. Confronting our drive to dominate, consume, and distinguish ourselves from the natural world, the exhibition considers the vanity and consequences of human progress. It asks whether intelligence without humility leads to ruin—and whether recognizing our kinship with other living beings might offer another path.
