Malcolm W. Kenter's Synecdoche, the San Francisco artist's first solo museum exhibition, presents 21 architectural works from ten years, in reverse chronology. Pillars, window frames, alarm boxes, vents and facades are rendered as disembodied fragments marked by layered paint, weathering and hostile design, paired with Arts and Crafts works from the museum's collection to trace a changing city.
