In this solo project at Dimensions Variable (June 10-August 21, 2026), Miami artist Leyden Rodriguez-Casanova, who left Cuba as a child in the Mariel boatlift, transforms gates, construction materials, and mass-produced domestic objects into sculptural installations. Probing the line between restraint and protection, the work links his own crossing to migration routes worldwide, from the Sonoran Desert to the Straits of Florida, framing objects as vessels of transition.
