La Obra (The Work) makes the physical labor of making its subject, bringing together guest and represented artists including Michael Reece, Sara Koenig, Mei Shibata and Tara Yellen across painting, sculpture, textile and mixed media. Drips, textures and layers are left visible rather than concealed, so each surface becomes a record of the hand, tool and decision behind it, inviting viewers to slow down.
