Margot Samel announces Kuu Maa, a group exhibition with Sasha Brodsky, Brian Dawn Chalkley, Miho Dohi, Edith Karlson, Cécile Lempert, Man Yau, and Klara Zetterholm. Drawing its title from an Estonian song, the exhibition considers distance as an emotional and relational condition. Across painting, sculpture, and textile-based works, figures, objects, and materials appear paused or slightly displaced, holding states of hesitation, proximity, and quiet tension.
