Kenturah Davis’s "Rest Stops" presents prototypes and drawings for a network of sensory gardens across Altadena, where the artist lost family homes in the Eaton Fire. Inspired by Black quilting traditions, the designs reimagine thresholds on burned lots as restorative places of rest that support soil remediation and native habitat, part of a three-year project inviting families to steward gardens as they rebuild.
