Installation view, Katia Santibañez: And Yet Again, DC Moore Gallery, 2026
Katia Santibañez’s *And Yet Again* brings together new abstract paintings and works on paper built on precise grids, some with half-inch squares. Each square holds a painted spiral, or “pinwheel,” inspired by snail shells, tree rings, flowers and vine tendrils, while shifting color sequences make the surfaces vibrate. The work explores repetition and difference: natural cycles that recur but are never the same.
