Karon Davis's *Wishful Thinking* presents new life-size sculptures of nude figures, body-cast from the artist's friends, muses and models. Working from real bodies, Davis renders each figure at full human scale. The exhibition takes up the long history of the nude in Western art, placing the Black figure at its center and exploring beauty, desire and who has historically been idealized within the canon.
