Karen Barbour's "Diamond Garden for Cornelia", her third exhibition with Harkawik, presents paintings and collages by the Bay Area artist, some begun in the 1980s and reworked across decades. Jewel-toned flower landscapes, figures and cosmic rainbows crowd her canvases. The title work grew from a story of precious elver eels and a promise to her niece, exploring memory, family lore and the search for buried treasure.
