Just Short of Contact is an exhibition of new paintings by Toronto based artist Natia Lemay. Focusing on domestic interiors, Lemay depicts spaces marked by absence, intrusion, and unresolved proximity. Layered black surfaces gradually reveal tonal shifts and obscured details, as figures and objects hover between concealment and emergence, holding tension between interior and exterior.
