Judy Nimtz presents a new series of small oil paintings drawn from her travels in Italy, Spain, Ireland, and Greece. Joining her figurative and plein air practices, the works show rooflines, gardens, coastlines, and figures resting or absorbed in a task, rendered with soft, dreamlike handling of light and shadow. Nodding to the 19th-century Grand Tour, the series reflects on travel, history, and close looking.
