Jean Nagai’s *As Cloud As Possible* presents layered paintings exploring scale, time, and interconnectedness. Using repeated marks, saturated washes, pumice, and acrylic, Nagai builds tactile surfaces that move between intimate detail and expansive fields. Inspired by noise music and clouds as accumulations of countless particles, the works consider how individual elements gather into larger structures, rhythms, and atmospheres.
