Dolby Chadwick Gallery presents Variations, an exhibition of new work by Seattle-based artist Jaq Chartier, on view July 9 through August 22, 2026. Chartier's vibrant, alchemical paintings investigate how materials interact, colors shift, and affective experiences transport. Known for her Testing series, she creates abstract works that double as active visual records of experiments with stains, dyes, and paints as they migrate and change over time.
