Jacqueline Boyd: In the Making debuts the artist's Ephemeral series through Stanek Gallery's OUTSIDE THE BOX program. The modestly scaled mixed media works combine reworked collages on watercolor paper, hand-cut forms, stencils made from botanicals gathered in her garden, graphite, acrylic, colored pencil and layered Japanese papers, with fragments of handwritten family words surfacing to reflect on making and memory.
