Islands in the Air at Cheremoya draws on the spirit of Mina Loy, whose work channeled both cosmic and earthly energies. Inspired by her assemblage art and writings, the exhibition presents works that reuse, reimagine, and reconstruct—grappling with fragmentation, survival, and transformation. Featuring pieces by Bridget Hamel, Naoki Sutter-Shudo, Vanesa Gingold, Imogen Brent, Madelyn Kellum, and Kenneth Winterschladen, the show forms a poetic constellation of material and memory.
