Innocence and Intruders, marking thirty years of Fredericks & Freiser, looks forward to artists introduced at formative stages of their careers. The works unfold in intimate settings—bedrooms, fields, and shadowed interiors—where familiarity slowly shifts. Figures and animals intertwine, and spaces of care and safety feel increasingly fragile. Rather than dramatic rupture, tension builds gradually, revealing how protection, vulnerability, and unease can coexist within the same frame.
