SEIZAN Gallery presents KEIKO ARAI: INKSCAPE, the artist’s first U.S. solo exhibition, featuring over twenty-two works using sumi ink on washi paper. Through experimental and traditional methods, Arai expands the expressive range of monochromatic abstraction. Her Zone series creates organic shapes via masking and slow drying, while Now and Then revisits Zen symbolism through repeated circles. Additional works incorporate natural materials and sculptural forms to push sumi ink’s possibilities.
