Lyne Lapointe creates mixed media works that combine ink drawings with found objects, shells, pearls, crystals, gold leaf, and other organic materials. Approaching her practice as an “archaeology of memory,” she explores identity, desire, and the body through surreal, gender-fluid figures that balance vulnerability with resilience. A pioneering voice in feminist and queer art, Lapointe has spent more than four decades expanding the possibilities of figurative and installation-based practice.
