In the Body of Light is a solo exhibition by Ileana García Magoda featuring new paintings and papier-mâché vessels. Rooted in somatic awareness and her experience of light and landscape in rural Mexico, the works translate sensations of heat, breath, and seasonal change into layered color fields and sculptural forms. Across two and three dimensions, Magoda explores touch, transformation, and the relationship between body and environment.
