Sarah Zapata’s *In escape from the vices of idleness* transforms the gallery through monumental hand-woven textiles covering architectural forms and spilling across the floor. Drawing on Peruvian weaving traditions, Andean imagery, modernist architecture, and queer culture, Zapata uses weaving, embroidery, and latch-hooking to explore labor, time, heritage, and the relationship between bodies, landscapes, and built space.
