*Imagining New Futures* brings together paintings by Haya Zaidi, Shahpari Rahmani, Alemeh Bagherian and Inka Essenhigh, four artists who rework inherited stories into visions of what might come next. Zaidi reworks Indo-Persian miniature painting, Bagherian draws on the Persian epic the *Shahnameh*, Rahmani builds textured fields between abstraction and figuration, and Essenhigh paints dreamlike enamel worlds.
