Andrius Alvarez-Backus presents a body of sculptural and wall-based works shaped by personal health experiences and an interest in surgical processes. Using cutting, splicing, and reassembly, the works draw from medical gestures and familial knowledge to examine ambiguity, exposure, and repair. Found objects, textiles, and anatomical references frame knowing as provisional, bodily, and unresolved.
