For Socrates Sculpture Park's 40th anniversary, Chakaia Booker returns with three monumental sculptures—Serendipity (1998), Gridlock (2008), and LIKE (2009). Known for sinuous forms in recycled tires and stainless steel, Booker first tested modularity and scale at the Park in the 1990s; Homecoming revisits that formative site and her lineage among Black women working in public art.
