Garth Greenan Gallery presents Home As It Was, an exhibition of new works by Yatika Starr Fields, opening March 6, 2025. Expanding on his Tent Metaphor series, Fields explores tents as symbols of protest, displacement, and Indigenous resilience. Using tent materials as canvases, his works incorporate imagery of shields and regalia, drawing connections between survival, adaptation, and resistance. Inspired by Parable of the Sower, the exhibition reflects on home, change, and collective endurance.
