Hiroshi Sugimoto’s *EXTINCTION* at MOMAT surveys roughly sixty gelatin silver photographs from the late 1970s to today, from early series through recent Opticks. The exhibition frames the threatened silver-gelatin process itself as a subject, alongside themes of deep time, vanishing media, and photography’s expanding language. A parallel display of notebooks and collection works accompanies the survey.
