Heidi Lau's *Ouroboros* is an installation of hand-built ceramic sculpture expanding on *Pavilion Procession*, shown in the Sigg Prize 2025 exhibition at M+ in Hong Kong. Its centerpiece, *Within These Very Mountains* (2026), is her largest suspended ceramic installation to date. Drawing on the creatures of the ancient *Shanhaijing*, Lau explores cycles of life, death and rebirth and the blurred line between beings.
