*Negotiated Skin* brings together handwoven textiles, protein-based biomaterial membranes, soft sculpture, suspended installation, and a collaboration with threeASFOUR. Inspired by cervical surgery, the work considers repair, vulnerability, and care through materials that stretch, tear, reinforce, and change—imagining biodegradable alternatives to synthetic surfaces and skin as a continually negotiated boundary.
