Frank Walter’s *The World Through* is the first West Coast presentation of the Antiguan artist, writer and polymath (1926–2009), marking his centenary. Vividly colored landscapes, vignettes and portraits sit alongside a focused group of small tondo paintings from his *Spool* series, made late in life and shaped by memories of a sea crossing. Like portholes, they conjure dreamscapes, landscapes and lineages.
