Adam D. Miller's "Farewell from the Turtle Pond" presents new ceramics built around his Ultraman series, from vessels to 36-inch platters that double as wall tondos. Ultraman and the Ultraboys, modeled on Miller's sons, gather in a desert oasis of turtles and flowering ponds, an image born at a hospital turtle pond during his father's final days. The work reflects on family, memory, loss and renewal.
