Colletta's solo show at Oolong Gallery's new Tribeca space (July 10-August 2, 2026) takes its title from Proust's involuntary-memory episode. Working from memory and invention, the Encinitas-based painter - a 1987 Yale MFA classmate of Yuskavage and Currin - distills ordinary moments such as family gatherings, garage-band concerts, and beach outings into luminous, pared-down canvases where everyday experience acquires a quiet, almost mythic gravity.
