Andrea Schwartz Gallery presents the fourteenth solo exhibition of John Belingheri. Known for his process-driven practice, Belingheri builds paintings through repetition, addition, erasure, and revision. Layers of pattern and contrasting color create light and depth, while imperfections—frayed brushes, absent lines, and slips—become integral to the work. Rather than seeking answers, his canvases hold questions, each one a gesture of persistence and an ongoing dialogue with possibility.
