Hauser & Wirth London presents Nicolas Party’s first solo exhibition with the gallery, featuring new treescapes and portraits in pastel. Inspired by Camille Claudel and Auguste Rodin, the works explore themes of aging and mortality while reimagining representational painting. Party transforms the gallery into an immersive environment with deep electric blue walls and architectural framing. A new monograph on his mural practice will accompany the show, marking him as the first in the Contemporary Masters series.
