Excite is a group exhibition of paintings by Albert Contreras, June Edmonds, Dion Johnson, Heather Gwen Martin, Christopher Pate, Kristopher Raos, Michael Reafsnyder, Phillip K. Smith III, and Liat Yossifor. The artists investigate light, surface, color, and perception through distinct formal strategies, including layered acrylic, impasto, gradients, modular structures, milled aluminum relief, and intuitive mark making. Urban references, industrial materials, and optical effects generate spatial tension and implied movement.
